All prices are subject to VAT and may alter depending on complexity and location of the award. You may consent to your neighbour’s works. However, it is always prudent to have what is termed a Schedule of Condition of the areas of your property that are likely to be affected by the works.
This will give you a record of the condition of your property prior to works commencing and a point of reference in the event of any damage.
We can normally undertake this for a fee of £400 plus VAT and copies are given to both parties. It is not unreasonable in these circumstances for the person undertaking the works to pay for the Schedule of Condition. It also protects them from contentious claims.
